How we started

911 Dryer Vent Cleaning was founded by an entrepreneur & firefighter who served his community for nearly nine years. During his time as a firefighter he responded to hundreds of house fires caused by DRYERS. Witnessing so many devastated families as they watched their home go up into flames; He knew something needed to be done to help reduce the number of house fires. Annually, over 15,000 house fire are linked back to an origin of the dryer and the dryer venting system. Here is what the he had to say:

"I have seen firsthand the devastation a fire can cause to a family as a firefighter for 9 years. I have built this business with the hopes of protecting property and saving lives. Not a lot of people know they need to have their dryers venting system cleaned regularly. I want to educate and provide a service to lower the annual house fires caused by dryers."

Meet the owner

Lee was born in Caldwell, Texas but moved to the Houston area around the age of 10. His parents quickly realized that Lee would be a business man one day after he asked to start a lemonade stand on weekends during the summer. Passing neighbors could get a cup of ice cold homemade lemonade for 25 cents. By the age of 13 you could find Lee pushing around lawn mowing equipment in his neighborhood mowing lawns.

In 2008 Lee witnessed his neighbors house go up in flames and watched how firefighters worked to put out the blaze. This is what ultimately sparked his interest in the fire service; which would lead to him attending a fire academy at night while still in high school. On May 6, 2010 Lee graduated from Cy-Fair High School that morning and the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department Fire Academy that evening. He would then spend the next 9 years serving his community as a dedicated firefighter.

Lee has a son named Calvin who was born in 2016. During Lee's off time they both enjoy the outdoors. They frequently go fishing and kayaking. Anything that has to do with outdoor fun; these two are all about it.
